LEAH BELL
Leah is a painter from Annapolis, MD currently living in St. Michaels. Her work is characterized by vibrant colors, subtle nuances of light, a dedication to classical techniques, and a modern take on traditional subjects. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Arts with a Magna cum laude distinction from Towson University, demonstrating a deep commitment to artistic excellence. Bell’s pursuit of artistic mastery has led her to study with renowned artists and institutions both domestically and abroad. She honed her skills at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, immersing herself in the rich tradition of the Renaissance and classical painting. Further refining her technique, Bell studied with esteemed artists Cedric and Joanette. Egeli in Edgewater, Maryland and at the historic Cape School of Art in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Her dedication to continuous learning is also evident in her studies at theMaryland Hall for the Creative Arts with John Ebersberger and Bonnie Roth Anderson. This extensive training has shaped Bell’s unique artistic vision, allowing her to capture the essence of light and shadow with breathtaking realism.
