JEREMY JOSEPH

Jeremy is a master at capturing the essence of his subject matter with seemingly minimal execution. His broad strokes and limited colors so beautifully define his art and make him a remarkable and highly desirable artist.

Jeremy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a concentration in painting and printmaking. He continued his graduate studies in Art at SouthernConnecticut University, The Mystic Art Association, and the Lyme Art Academy. He furthered his studio painting living in Seattle, WA having work shown in the Seattle Art Museum and a solo exhibition of his work at the Virginia Inn Gallery.

Jeremy has been teaching Art at the Easton Elementary School for the past 23 years and continues to share his exploration of Art with his young students. In Maryland, he has exhibited work at the Academy of Arts, The Arts in Easton Banner Auction, and The Oxford Fine Arts Fair. He has won awards at both Plein Air Easton Quick Draw and the Local Color Exhibition. He has also painted dozens of commercial and residential murals throughout Talbot County. Over the past decade his work has been on view, including in a solo exhibition in Grafton Galleries of Easton, MD.   A solo exhibition was also held at Adkins Arboretum in Ridgely, MD. Jeremy’s work is currently represented by the American/Holiday in St. Michaels MD.
